Over the past few weeks, the ardent fans of Star Plus popular show ‘Saath Nibhana Saathiya’ have been enjoying their social media feed which first served them the ‘Rasode Main Kaun Tha’ music rap and then the news of the daily soap making a comeback with the second season. Both the events have kept the audience entertained despite the fact that the first season of the television show wrapped up three years ago. The fans who had been missing their favourite characters such as ‘Gopi Bahu’ , ‘Rashi Ben’ and ‘Kokila’, once again laughed their guts and cherished the comeback of these characters.
With this, looks like the fever will maintain for longer, as the actor-comedian Sunil Grover has decided to entertain the audience by his own version of Gopi Bahu. Grover has turned into ‘Topi Bahu’ and has attempted to recreate the iconic scene from Saath Nibhaana Saathiya, in which Gopi Bahu scrubbed a laptop, cleaned it with dishwashing soap and dried it out in the sun.
Taking to his social media accounts, Grover shared a glimpse from the upcoming episode of his comedy show Gangs Of Filmistan, where he will be seen dressed in a saree just like the Gopi Bahu from the show. He will be washing the laptop, some important documents and then drying them.
While sharing the clip, the comedian wrote, “Topi Bahu! Ghar ke kaam karegi aaj raat 8 baje @StarBharat par.”
It is worth mentioning that the TV show ‘Saath Nibhana Saathiya’ which went off air in 2017, is now returning with second season. In the first season, the role of Gopi Bahi was initially played by Giaa Manek for two years before she was replaced by Devoleena Bhattacharjee.
