Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, the event will be held virtually and live-streamed online on Apple Events web page at 10:30 pm IST (10 am PDT). People can also watch the event on YouTube.

In line with the WWDC 2020 event, this event, too, is expected to show a pre-recorded video of Steve Jobs Theater and Apple Park.

One of the major launches expected today is the Apple Watch Series 6. Going by this year’s theme ‘Time Flies’, the tech company in its virtual event is expected to unveil the new generations of the Apple Watch. According to leaks the new Apple Watch is expected to have features such as sleep tracking, blood oxygen monitoring, better battery life, improved waterproofing, added electrocardiogram feature and much more.

Apple Watch SE

The firm has kept the lips sealed on what’s coming at today’s event, but the rumour mill has suggested that Apple may unveil the new Apple Watch hardware. Apple is rumoured to launch a cheaper Apple Watch model along with the Watch Series 6. It is expected to be a low-end watch replacing the Watch Series 3 currently available at $199 but little information is available about the Watch Series 3 right now. Details on the release schedule of watchOS 7 are also being expected.
